I’ve been making guacamole for many years for just about every family gathering and every other event that I’ve ever been invited to. Everyone expects me to bring it, no matter what. Otherwise I’d never hear the end of how disappointed everyone is.
Well, as our family grew, it became difficult for me to make the right sized batches by hand. It ends up being a lot of work to chop so many things up into such small pieces. It’s tough on my hands, and I’m definitely not getting any younger. Not to mention, it was really time consuming too.
It never occurred to me that I could use a food processor to make my guacamole. I randomly stumbled across a blog that had a recipe for food processor guacamole. I decided to read about it to see if this was an option I might want to explore.
This was literally like a dream come true. It made so much sense to me once I read through a recipe. Plus, there were so many other things I could do with this gadget. I was excited to try out some new recipes as well.
I decided to take the leap and buy one from KitchenWorksInc. I chose to order the Cuisinart DFP-14BCWNY Food Processor. What a glorious machine. I was beyond excited. When it arrived, I was so anxious to get started.
Over were the days of chopping up the avocados and tomatoes. I no longer had to cry because of cutting onions. And probably the best part, if the jalapenos were too spicy, I didn’t have to worry about burning my hands while chopping them up, which has happened on more than a few occasions, and is really painful.
Another huge factor that is so nice is the lack of mess. Without having to chop all these things on a cutting board, there is hardly any cleanup that I have to do. This reason in itself is enough of a reason to make the guacamole with a food processor.
Overall, the annoying prep work is pretty much eliminated now. I can get the guacamole done so much faster, and in large batches which is just perfect for me. My Cuisinart food processor took away so much of the stress of planning for any events that I attend.
I’m so glad I took the leap and changed how I made my guacamole. No one knows how much easier I made the process for myself, and it’s the same amazing recipe I’ve been making for years. I will continue to use my food processor for virtually anything that I can for many years to come. I highly recommend this product for so many reasons.
