Motorbikes in Africa: A blessing or a curse?

Motorbike taxis have proliferated all over cities and villages of African nations. Due to the economic crises of the 90s, public transport subventions in many African countries dropped, paving the way for cheap chinese motorcycles who have become the king of the African roads.

But how  these motorbike taxis used in various African countries is a call for concerne.  Called okade in Nigeria, Bend skin in cameroon, Boda-boda in East Africa,  motorbike public transport has embraced African cultures and its adaptation has given rise to what we see on the image.
